Adrian Romeo
 

Adrian Romeo is a graduate of Thompson Rivers University BFA class of 2024, and the 2024 recipient of the TRU Medal in Bachelor of Fine Arts. Romeo grew up in Clearwater, British Columbia.

 

She currently lives and works in Kamloops, British Columbia. Romeo's interdisciplinary practice is a creative response to the vast complexities of being human. Her artwork is informed by the universal experience of living in a human body, and how it manages to be individual and unique while also being ubiquitous. It is shaped by her ever changing mental, physical, and emotional relationship with her own body.

 

Romeo's work addresses challenging subject matter while maintaining a sense of humor. Through this marriage of vulnerability and humor she hopes to spark conversation and foster connection.
